Responsive Causality is an interactive installation that generates chain of events between physical objects and digital simulations. The project explores how our understanding of movement in architectural space may change in a future of digitally enabled environments. The work consists of a piece of physical domino, series of interactive projections, interactive pulleys, interactive videos, interactive LED signs, kinetic robot finger, a gigantic metal door that was once opened for aircraft. All of these components create a hybrid chain reaction system that takes place in a gallery space that was a former aircraft-testing facility built during World War II. The installation playfully deals with the emerging contexts in the modern digital life, such as issues of control and technology.
